So your mail bounced, or you cannot send mail to accounts on our mailservers?
There are one of three reasons, why your mail bounced :
The solutions to fix your mail block problem is listed below:
- 1. Configuaration ignorance.
- 2. Negligence / infected machine.
- 3. Abusive, excessive mail, unsolicited mail / Porn / Pill spam.
Informed users with a little due dilligence will take the proper precausions. If you dont, then when your data is compromised or your identity is stolen, you can then enjoy the turmoil you will experience. You dont have my sympathy, you have my scorn for being a lazy, airhead of a sheep.
- 1.Configuaration ignorance - Make sure you are sending mail through, your ISP's mailserver and that it is properly configured with reverse DNS. If he cannot provide you with reverse DNS correctly configured MOVE, you are being screwed over, he does not care if your mail bounces, as long as you keep paying. If you are running a Domain and an eCommerce site and your server is Infected or spewing unsolicited mail then you have just given the impression you and your site is untrustworthy, and is possible a source of Virus infections, Identity theft etc and you will have lost the confidence of your visitor, and rightly so. - 2.Negligence / infected machine - Make sure you get off your lazy ass and do your Operating System patches, install proper Anti Virus and Trojan protection and a Firewall. Then take the time out of your lazy schedule and read the instructions to configure it and install it. If you are running that copy from a friend, then buy a Licenced Copy, as thats Piracy and you are stealing. Infected machines are an extension of criminal behavior and pathetic self serving cheap interest. So expect your world to get smaller, if you dont do anything about it. - 3.Abusive, excessive mail, unsolicited mail - Well here is tbe overzealous looser, who cannot get results for his service or product, that he has to bombard other peoples mailboxes. What does this tell you? Informed people are avoiding you, your products and services. This is tantamount to invasion of privacy. This is normally by the onslaught of constant solicitations and virus infected mail, many bearing solicitations from other loosers virus infected and highjacked ( stolen ) machines. It certainly invokes confidence. Especially, when accounts are signed up without consent or scrapped from websites, or spamming to non-existant users. ( the vast majority of lists are DIRTY or out of date ) The best and easy solution is to block and avoid, however take note never to purchase from spamvertised sites.
